Hey guys!

Currently in school, updating with blogger-droid once again.

Waiting for Lovebird to finish her meeting before going off home.

Nothing much to do currently, so I chose to update!

Well, today has not been a good day for me.

On the way to school I had to run to catch my bus, only to reach the stop greeted by the bus just zooming past.

Effed up yo.

Also, today I forgot about my discussion with my Events Communication groupmates, and also the VCSG Lab practice.

What was I thinking?

I forgot to record down everything on my phone last Friday.

That's why.

Oh well.

I'll have to finish up my powerpoint slides by tonight.

Gig last Saturday was good.

Only for it to be a mess in the evening.

Fights, police, fines, blah.

Well I'm only a photographer for the day.

But next week I'll be performing!

You know, sometimes I feel like I miss the stuff that I always enjoy doing.

Badminton, camping, biking, meeting new people, doing outside activities.

Stuff that I want to do, and stuff that I had always been doing.

Sometimes I wish I was well to do.

Able to go anywhere without thinking of transport, time or whatever stuff.

Sometimes I wish I have a lot of time.

Sometimes I wish I have more friends to hang out with.

Sometimes I just wanna occupy myself with stuff.

Fun stuff.

Even so when I have a girlfriend who loves to occupy herself with such stuff.

It's fun watching her get occupied with stuff that she volunteers, or when she has school union stuff almost every day.

It's cool that sometimes she may get focused on her stuff that she could even divert her attention from the outside world.

From school.

From even me, I guess.

From everything.

We all need it don't we?

Me too.

I want to lay my mind off everything once in a while.

Sometimes when I hear and think of all the fun things I've missed, my heart cracks.

Even sometimes I think about how much fun my lovebird is having, while I'm always sitting beside the lake and brood.

I have to be strong though.

Now when I think about it, I am too far, I am a little too late.

A little too late to be doing all the fun stuff.

A little too old to be young again.

A little too.. late.

A little too.. impossible.

Even I think about transport and food while going to school.

How much I had to sustain my pocket money.

How to even do activities?

I admit sometimes I envy kids from rich families.

Just like what my lecturer said..

"Some kids are just luckier than others.

What they want, they get.

Even when they don't need to work all their life, their parents still can support everyone till they're old."

Like some of my friends.

Going to serve NS already.

So, whatever.

Bad childhood.

Bad teen life, I guess.

Let's see how my youth years go, shall we?

So I went out with my some of my classmates for Chinese New Year.

Went to Zhao Wei's house first.

Anyways I was wondering.

Pondering on stuff as usual.

There was this period of time where MacDonald's removed their curry sauce from its franchises.

It was removed, only for a few people to comment about the removal several months later.

As if they couldn't care less about it for the previous months.

Then suddenly,

a few weeks after,

MacDonald's released its curry sauce once again.

Was it so coincidental that people start talking about it ONLY WHEN IT IS GOING TO COME OUT AGAIN?

What, you guys paid to do so?

Come on!

It's as if the news were purposely spread to create awareness about the curry sauce incident when people had already knew about it and had forgotten.

Smart strategy there.

Plus, another thought.

Public transport.

A person lost his memory after falling in a bus.

What did bus services do to prevent more of such?

Practically NOTHING.

They could have implemented a rule whereby no one can now stand in a bus.

This would more or less prevent more of similar casualties.

Did they?

They didn't.

'Stupiak' f*****n bus drivers choose to fit their passengers like sardines instead.

Why?

To earn more.

Well.

What did they choose to do instead?

Grab away people's right of having food and drinks.

And giving them FINES for doing so.

Why?

To earn more.

I don't see why they should ban consumption of food and drinks, which would not a single bit harm humanity, to letting passengers risk their lives clinging onto the handrails just to stay 'safe'?

Singapore Bus Service, SMRT, or whatever.. please, if you're reading this, don't sue me.

Just give it a thought.

Spending my New Year's day finishing up a recording for a band.

And I just found out my guitar's fretboard is a 25.5" scale instead of a 24 5/8" that I had wanted.

It's okay, as long as I can still play it.

Those people who find it hard to even play on a 24 5/8" might as well opt for an ukulele.

Sorry for the not-updating-my-blog thingy.

I had been busy with Hari Raya outings, and there's one tomorrow too.

Going here, going there.

Argh.

And I needed the few moments to catch up with my sual life.

And here I am!

Well there's not much to say.

Just now my sister, my bassist and I went to my other guitarist's house for a long jam-up practice session.

Which turned out to be really short, due to some unforeseen circumstances.

So we had to go back early.

Then we went to the food court behind my house to get dinner, and we went back to my place for another jamming practice session, without the other guitarists.

We managed to do some riffs, so that's a good sign.

I have to quickly record it down so I won't forget.

He just went off at 2345h just now.

And here i am.

Tomorrow, I'll be going to a classmate's open house (don't know the duration) and when I get home, I'll have to make sure to scan my drawings for Aishah.

Well, I'm not really in the Hari Raya mood.

I'm not really sure why.

Anyways, this post benefits my friend Aishah!

Heh, and it's for anyone interested in drawing anime too.

I'm just gonna give a few tips and advise on how to draw nice posters.

**take note, I'm not professional either, I paint, I don't draw.

Well most of us, if not everyone, starts off not knowing the basics of drawing anime right.

And hey, it's not like you can't learn!

Perhaps many of you started drawing like me.

You close your eyes, think of what you wanna draw, and then you just scribble with a pencil.

Like this:

..drawing crap like this, or maybe not knowing exactly what to draw:

Fret not!

In my case, I start from step to step basis.

I work out one part by one part.

I divided my anime drawing practicals into several parts:

-eyes

-face

-hair

-shadows and outlines

...

Firstly is the eyes part.

Practice drawing different kinds of eyes.

Not sure how to start drawing eyes?

Don't worry, there's always Google!

Google stuff like 'male anime eyes' or 'female anime eyes' and samples like these should pop up.

Female eyes

Male eyes

More technical variety

Putting into practice

It's good to save these samples so that you can refer to them and improvise as to what you want to use on your anime character.

Alright next up is the face.

Face shapes are important in giving out the true nature of the stance and posture of the character.

It displays the angle at which the character is standing too.

Here are some examples:

In this step, don't concentrate on the hair too much.

You'll lose the purpose of the practical.

The main thing here is to pick up ways to emphasize on the jaw and cheeks.

Along this way, work out the ways of drawing nose and mouths too.

This would be an added bonus.

As you practice on, you'll learn how to associate mouth shapes with facial expressions.

Here comes the hair part.

Hair is the pat which requires technical design.

The hair should accentuate the face shape of the character.

Remember this: anime hair is subtle and delicate, yet visually interpretive.

An example of a hair index

There's another step to this.

You may want to..

..draw the skeleton first, plan the viewing angle and the details on the hair. And add the hair on to..

..your final drawing afterwards, so that there is not much distortion due to eraser marks and unwanted details.

That's basically it for the hair.

If all put together till now, I would slowly piece bit by bit:

Piece in sketches of eyes, jaws, face shape, and hair.

Bad drawing is okay in this steps.

Look, I drew bad too.

Practice is key.

...

Last tip from me is the shadows and outlines.

This is the usually tricky part to making our character more 'real-life' looking.

Drawing without shadow profile - it looks flat and bland.

whereas:

Drawing with shadow profile - accentuates her figure and contours, as well as create a visual appreciation o detail.

The key to producing shadows and stuff is to first think of the light source.

Where is it coming from?

How bright is it?

And how will the light affect the amount of detail?

Imagine it from a real-life physics point of view.

If the light source is coming from the top, any detail that is covered by the character would require extra shading and so forth.

That's the basis.

It requires training, and lots of watching anime and reading manga heh =P

These are some of the few tips I use to draw too.

Well mine isn't really that good anyways.

I used to draw using this method while still in Secondary school.

Sketching and stuff.

It didn't really work.

Now I try the conventional methods:

A more complicated and time-consuming one would be like:

You can also try transforming human into anime.

Like as in the case of this Gabalnara photo, I tried..

Not really nice, but it's a sketch.

Here's my story.

For the past week.

I haven't really been doing my revision. And my first paper's 4 days away.

Good luck better be on my side this Saturday.

And I was always having instant noodles for my pre-dawn meal.

Sis isn't fasting (red month) and mum just ate dates the day before, so I usually eat alone.

And truthfully, I would want to cook anything other than instant noodles, but there was nothing I could make.

Can you imagine eating instant noodles?

Again and again?

Eww.

Okay thinking bout it makes me wanna puke strings of flour.

But just now, mum woke up and fried rice together with egg and some flavoring powder thingy, plus fried anchovies.

Thanx mum, I appreciate it a lot ^^

Speaking of which, yesterday was the day of the photography presentation.

As usual I told stories and stuff, and luckily I did okay.

Taking into account how I was like a few years ago.

But I thought my photos seemed to have strayed away from the theme a little bit.

Credits to Ryan Lee and Li Huimin for the very interesting photos.

I guess I wanted to use the kittens' photos for the exhibition.

I didn't keep the rest of my raw photos, I just deleted them.

Just like how my desktop crashed and deleted a thousand of my photos, including some award-winning ones.

I don't wanna bother with photos and stuff for the time being.

I'll focus more on mastering music.

But, with the coming examinations, there's no time for me to do workouts and my usual 5km night run.

I really wanna lose these fats.

Mine's getting like, bigger.

I just researched on losing those hip and thigh fats.

Jogging, cycling, skipping and squats work best.

Diet would be mostly fruits and vegetables, and no coke.

Oh no, Hari Raya's gonna be full of Rendang, Serunding, Lontong and Curry!

My pull-up bar's only an 8 currently, after 2 years of not touching.

And yea, I've never gotten Silver in Napha test before, considering my health problems and stuff.

I'm thankful that I'm still able to live life.

Hello guys, I'm back just for a short while.

Alright, this post is dedicated to 'BVSS Junior' who left me a comment asking about my course.

Well, it benefits those who would want to know more about Audio-visual Technology too =D

Okay lemme start.

Introduction:

Audio-visual Technology isn't really like any other courses, where there are specific scopes of work. It involves mainly audio and video stuff. But we touch on a little of business and creativity too. Hmms, introduction's not too many. Lemme go to the next point.

Stuff we learn:

Okay, for the first year, and a part of the second year, there will be some engineering modules for you to take, like Mathematics, Engineering and Electronics. Yea I know, not many people are fond of this but hey, they're really useful for your career. Bad news isn't as bad as it can get right?

Alright, for the fun part. What we do a lot in this course is entertainment-based. Of course, we will be involved in the entertainment world. We are made mainly for the staging part.

Staging is divided into 3 parts:

Light

Sound

Stage

I shall explain briefly okay.

In light, you control the light mixer and do lighting design.

In sound, you control the sound mixer and do sound design and acoustics.

In stage, you control the stage lor. =P It's usually those people behind the stage handling props and cues.

Oh, and there are bonuses too!

We do music composition, recording and mixing, and we have our own recording studio! We also do video editing and photography. We have a multi-purpose studio in campus too. If you realize, these are extra skills equipped to us.

As you may have realized, I mentioned those 'benefits' that you learn throughout the course, like music, video and photography. You can work as a music engineer in a recording company. You can edit videos for companies too. And you can freelance as an events photographer.

Me, sis and mum went to Jurong Point to break fast. Cause sis wanted to eat at Long John Silvers'. Like I said, LJS is really expensive. Think about it, you're paying bucks for small chunks of meat and extra small fries? And look at how LJS pays its workers. Nuts. PEANUTS. But oh well, sometimes an LJS meal does wonders.

I ordered Grilled Cajun Chicken meal and a Cheesy Fries and Chips Combo. Yes this was what I ate. Two meals. And this, THIS, is proof that LJS needs to add more servings to our meals. Cause what you give me on my plate now, is WAAAAYYY toooooo little to satisfy my hunger. And I spent $11 on my meal. What the crap? And guess what, I still wasn't satisfied. And no, I'm not implying that I have three stomachs.

Walked around, then came back home.

Hey readers.

Lemme touch on my past days.

Wednesday. Hmm. Nothing much happened.

Except that there was Media Transmission Systems test, and Lecturer commented on me, saying that I did quite well. Oh, typical. This is because every time he glanced at me from the front of class, I would always happen to look into my Macbook screen. So he was kinda taken back when I scored, cause he didn't expect me to. In class, it always goes like this, " Azwan, are you paying attention?" Me: "Yes". Lol.

Then Stage Management was the same old boring crap. And we watched a seemingly 'gory' video. Event failed, fire broke out, people melted together. Some people went "aiyo, cannot see this anymore, scary!". If you think it's scary, go and commit suicide. Seriously, why is everyone so afraid of things, gosh?

Thursday. Which is just now la, lol.Came to school at 1400h for some silly connection thingy in Audio and Video Media Player Technology. Simple. Heh. And I helped some people. Bought a sandwich. Sat down with Wan Yee @ Atrium before heading home.

And here I am. Hmms.

Anyways, I went to hair treatment yesterday.

The salon was blasting Korean songs al the way.

BBF soundtracks came up too!

And I've changed my opinion about K-pop.

Okay-okay la, not so bad, but not that good too.

Then the salonist asked if I needed a haircut.

I just asked her to layer my nape and back, as well as thin my top and sides.

Blablabla, then suddenly she touched my fringe, and Boomz.

Literally Boomz, it was almost gone.

Well I couldn't say anything already, 'cause it was gone.

4-month fringe down the salon floor.

Guess I have t wait 2 more months for it to take shape again.

And I was planning to have my fringe for Hari Raya.

Topic: PATHS OF LIFE

Have you guys ever wondered which path you want to go in life?

Some of you may have already started on the journey, but I believe there are some of you who don't really know which path to take to search for your dreams.

I am one of them.

That is the reason I chose this topic.

And exactly how many paths are there to take?

No one knows.

Here I want to share the different kinds of paths.

Some paths are straight; you could literally just stroll through it.

Some paths are direct, but very dangerous.

Some paths are bent. You need to go through curves and turns to reach your goal.

Some paths are wide. The goal is in front of you, yet you go a big round before you reach it.

Some paths are right in front of you, but it's how clever you are to successfully cross the obstacle in front of you.

Some paths are locked. Someone has the key to give it to you; you just have to find the right person to ask from.

And lastly, some paths are just almost impossible to go through. But all in all, nothing's impossible. Take a boat and stroll through, no matter how long it takes. Just never stop going.

Ok you know what, I think most of the song covers I see on Youtube are B*******. Please refrain from uploading useless cover videos that flood the video traffic, thank you for nothing.

And I suddenly thought of making up a comparison. About a currently hot topic among many of us.

Japanese and Korean craze.

That's right!

Okay, lemme get straight to the point.

A lot of us teenagers are becoming influenced by these J-pop/rock and K-pop 'thing-ies' and I'm not exactly sure why. These influences usually come in the form of friend-to friend recommendations, or by the web.

Now Imma look into two different aspects between these two distinct countries.

First is 'Impressions'.

Second is 'Song types'.

Japanese people tend to want to dress so that they capture the eyes of the public. All those stupid weird dressings or those sophisticated clothings. That's the first and foremost trait you would notice on them. Different clothing styles range from Harajuku, Goth-Lolita, Cross-dress, Formal, Slack and more.

Some songs are traditionally made by real musical instruments, while others are made up of silly computerized sound effects. Most are bands that make their own songs. Some songs are extremely addictive, while some can be comparable to the noise made by a fcuking drill beside your bedroom. Very few Japanese people really do sing nicely. Most rock band singers have wobbly vibrato and short breath. Japanese people become unique musicians once they go major labellings. Japanese bands are more preferred by musicians for their very melodious compositions and exclusive progressions.

The first thing you would take note of Koreans are their looks. I can't deny that most of their plastic faces look really nicely done. These Korean guys have cute girly or manly features that makes girls go ... I don't really know lah. And the Korean girls have these super cute faces that could make pure girls go Lesbo. Their dressings are... you guessed it: the Korean 'in thing' fashion, usually sold in Bugis Street, or many blog shops out there, you name it.

I can't deny that Koreans, most of them, sing much better than Japanese. It's because most were pulled together by talent searchers and stuff. And try to count; less than half of them really do make their own songs, or play any instruments. Majority of their songs are almost, or entirely, computer-generated. Which is a fcuk in my ears if I do really hear them. And because of these stupid fcuk sounds that are non-existent in the real world, their songs become really nice. Singers and consumers tend to hear Korean songs, rather because their vocal style is more preferred and mainstream.

It's been another week.

Since I threw away my emo self.

And guess what?

It's an awesome time.

Life's great.

Once again.

Well let me share my weekend with you guys.

Last Saturday, it rained.

Yea DUH!

So I didn't want to go out until it stopped raining at around six in the evening.

Went out with sis to Bugis, with the school's Nikon D80 + 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 Nikkor lens.

Took some shots, then dinner at BK.

Ate the hot and spicy burger shit.

Not bad!

Then we walked past Illuma, the National Library, Supperclub, CHIJVES, Raffles City, the old court, then the Padang.

Then it was 2040h, and we walked all the way from City hall, past Clarke Quay, to Chinatown.

Met my bandmates at Anaki Records.

Then went home at 2215h.

It was tiring.

And guess what?

My hands suck to the point that half my pictures are blur.

I didn't use flash (natural lighting), and I set the camera to big aperture and 1/2-5 shutter speed.

It's a risk, but the outcome turned out to be not as bad.

Home sweet home, and slept after a few episodes of Bleach and One Piece.

The next day, a Sunday, IFORGOTWHATIDIDIHAVESTM.

Monday was super random. Lesson at 0800-0930h.

I got home and along the way I caught a hellish-painful migraine.

Not sure how or where I caught it though =P

Have you ever thought of what blind people really see?

Have you ever thought of how disabled people wished they could do sports like us?

Have you ever thought of how every parent wants their children to be smart?

Life isn't fair?

Think to yourself, if you think life isn't fair, you're saying that God's bad.

I thought of all these.

For 2 days.

Before anything happens, I want to share some of the most memorable phenomenons that happened throughout my life ( I'll not be stating every single one) :

In pri school ( can't remember the time or date or place or status =P ), I helped a blind lady cross the road. I was happy. I looked scary, like a brat, yet she wasn't afraid of me. Cause she couldn't look at me. She felt my sheer warm presence in myself. She was extraordinary.

In sec sch, I helped a handicapped man to buy things in the shop, cause he was exhausted walking with only a leg. I kept thinking how people with only a leg hoped for so much to walk, while we, with two fit legs, become lazy people.

Last year, I was at Clementi, and a blind man needed my help to look out for his bus number 105. He chatted with me about how he was disappointed with the size of City Vibes. He told me he expected it to be slightly larger than Vivo City. I was fascinated. How can a blind person tell the size of a shopping mall?

I was waiting for class to start yesterday, so I went to have breakfast at Canteen 2. A very short girl walked past the carpark. It was a sickness, I'm not sure what it's called. She's half my height.
And I said to myself ' oh God, what was I thinking!? There are people out there who want to be tall like I do, and I'm still complaining about being the shortest guy in class? I realized, I'm a sinner.

Yesterday night, I was at Jurong Point with sis at 2230h. A Chinese man on a wheelchair called up to me. His right leg was amputated till above the knee. He said in Chinese ( Halo boy ar, ni ge yi pang wo ...blablabla... chi na pian toilet ge yi ma? ) Something like that. And so I pushed him like what seemed forever, while I chatted with my sis. When I reached the toilet for the handicapped, I helped him in, and he conveyed his gratitude by saying 'thank you' a lot of times. I thought of how people like these hold their bladder and pushed the wheelchair on their own, while we could just run to the toilet on our own two legs. I felt really sad. And I walked home instead of taking the bus.

And here I am, complaining about every single thing I didnt like.

Here's what I think about myself:

I'm short. I'm only 168cm (5ft 1 inch) tall. In my wishlist, I wanted to be a nice 175cm. No one's attracted to short guys like me.

I am ugly. Look at my eyes. My nose. My mouth. I look like a girl. And my eyelashes are so long, girls are jealous of me. Hey girls, do you really think I want these long eyelashes? Take it if you can. I'm more than happy. I'll jump for joy.

My hair sucks. It's damaged. Frizzy. Always dry. And it's always too thick.

I'm dark. I hate my skin tone. I don't understand why those people around me want to stupidly tan their skin when it's in such a nice fair tone. It isn't fair. Here I want skin like them, and there they are at the beach, spoiling the beautiful skin. Stupid people. You don't appreciate what God gave you. Nice skin tone. And you are damaging it. Fuck you.

I'm poor. No one wants to go out with poor people. I cant even buy food sometimes. And they're easily throwing food when they're full.

I'm too mature. I think like an adult. Maybe because of all the experiences I've gone through since young. Even now, I'm all grown up, and it's hard to cry, even when my beloved granny passed away. But, thinking of my terrible past makes me shed tears, and I wished so much, that never would any other dear child suffer the same fate as me.

I thought for 2 days.

What was I thinking?

What have I done?

My eyes are ugly. Yes. Ugly eyes that see the beautiful world. Others have beautiful eyes that see nothing but black.

I'm short. I hate it. Others are half my height. And they don't complain.

I thought of being lazy. There are people who would want a set of legs to walk on.

I'm dark. There are darker people.

I realized, they're such extraordinary people, with strong hearts.

And, I'm just normal.

I'm a retard for thinking too much about myself.

I regret it.

So much.

Really.

I'm disappointed of my own brain.

How could I ever think of such negative thoughts?

My point is, I want to change.

And I have.

And I need to promise myself to stay this way.

I will.

I must.

Wake up to a new me, people.

I lepak-ed till 1.

Reached home at half past 2, and slept till eight.

And so I'm here.

It's a boring day.

Had I been promising myself not to be emo again?

I did.

I was never emo to begin with.

I have to admit.

Yes, I'm quiet.

I'm shy.

I have low self confidence.

I hate how I look.

I wonder how people hate me when they look at my ugly face.

I don't really know how to start a conversation.

And when I do, people think I'm weird.

I don't know what to talk about.

'Cause it's really difficult for me to find a topic.

It's not like I understand most of my classmates anyway.

My class's almost divided into more smaller classes.

Only some understand their own jokes.

Thinking back, I know almost nothing about what they're talking about.

I don't even know what to talk about with them; there's really nothing to begin with.

And I realize, I'm becoming distant.

Worse, I didn't even feel like saying goodbye to my friends last Fri when lecture ended.

It's just sad to have a full eye view of what the class's becoming.

The first day of Year Two.

Nothing's changed.

Yet.

I was in school at half past 7.

Lesson from 8-12.

I sat down in the Atrium, anticipating any one of my darling classmates to walk past.

But to no avail.

I went up to class at 8.

Lesson was boring.

The class was a mixture of students from different courses.

2 of my classmates were there.

It ended at 10 instead.

I was lonely.

I met no one else except Joan and Li Jing.

So, being a good boy, and not lepak, I took the bus home.

That was my first day of year two.

Pathetic day, isn't it?

Time flies.

Really fast.

Without knowing it, I'm in year two.

And I have juniors 0.0

Well, I hope things do change.

Year 2, Semester 3, Audio Visual Technology.

Haiz, it's fast.

Life, I mean. Not holidays.

In fact, it felt as though in the blink of an eye, I'm already an 18-year old, within the legal age to drink, smoke, buy 4-D, watch NC-16 and M-18 movies (i haven't watched any yet), ride a motorcycle, drive a car (next month!!!), contribute to my CPF, and more.

And I still think I'm eight. =X

Oh well.

I'm not sure if it's injured near the face, head, ears and chin area, or it's just because of old age.

It's quite thin and frail too.

It's fur is white, and it looked almost like a Persian without the fluff.

Repackaging ( 1 day ) - stupid job which I don't wanna emphasize on ( $50 )

Adam Khoo Learning Technologies Group ( 3 weeks ) - Workshops, workshops, workshops. And lots of taxi claims too ( $750++ )

Warehouse ( 3 days ) - sort out artificial flowers, maintain warehouse, blablabla ( $135 )

Oh well, there's two more weeks till the start of a new academic year.

Let's see what else I could find within those two weeks.

Gonna spam cash in my pocket like hell.

I've learnt that bragging and complaining about being poor doesn't help AT ALL.

We have to do all means to change who we are.

At the start, I didn't even have cash to travel to the workplaces.

Anyways once again I went through another supernatural phenomenon.

I did an Adam Khoo Lear..... blablabla (too long) workshop for 3 days @ Rulang Pri Sch Library.

There were quite a number of bookshelves there.

Well, not as much as an NLB one =P

This book caught my eye:

The book's titled 'Transformations"

What's unique about this book is that for all the 3 days I spent in the library, the book turns to a certain page by itself.

This is what happened:

Day 1 - I walked around and saw the book. It caught my eye straightaway. It was opened to a certain page. I decided to flip it to the cover. Before I went home I checked to see if it was still closed. It was back to the same page. I closed the book again, making sure I was the last one to leave the room.

Day 2 - I was the first in the room. I put down my stuff. Then I remembered about the book. I decided to check it. True enough it was back opened to that same damn page. I closed it again. I did the same thing for about three times that day, and again making sure it was on the cover page before I left the room.

Day 3 - It was back to the same page. Thus I let it be.

The book, when opened.

To be more detailed, the page is about the transformation of a human into a sparrow, looking at the stars from a roof.

I'm not sure why or how it's related to this mystery.

And for those of you wondering, the room is AIR-CONDITIONED, the book was LYING DOWN FLAT and there is totally NO possible way for natural wind to have blew the cover up and flip to that same damn page.

Everytime I stared into the cover page of the book, I felt human chills.

I wonder what else I'll see if my third eye's still opened.

Oh well, it still remains a mystery.

As long as my third eye remains closed.

I won't want it to open again.

Looking at those past photos, I came to realize that cute chubby child who looked so innocent turned into an emo guy who, to some people, looked freaky.

I've been busy with my TEMPORARY job in Adam Khoo Learning Technologies Group.

Many schools to go to, many hings to collect and sort out, not including those great memories, those lessons learnt, and those great kids out there who made me want to enter childhood again, 'cause it seemed so much fun.

Met great and fun-to-be-with kids from Woodlands Ring Primary School, St Patrick's School and Rulang Primary School.

Other schools I've conducted are ACS Barker, Millenia Institute, and my secondary school during understudy, Bukit View Secondary School.

In each school I go to, there were vast differentiations that I could take note of.
The buildings.
The environment.
The teachers.
The kids.
The school system.
And their canteen food. =X

All in all, whichever school I go to, everyone were students, waiting for their full potential to be unleashed.

Well, speaking of schools, my 2nd year in Ngee Ann Polytechnic will open its wings for the first time in exactly a month's time.

I would like to wish all Polytechnic and ITE students the best of luck with the beginning of the school term.

Hopefully this year would be a better academic year than the previous.

I need to change. For the better. Hopefully I could step into school grounds as a different person. As a different man. As a different friend. As a different mentor. As a different student. And hopefully I can live life as a different person. As a different brother. As a different son. And as a different follower of Allah. Change the word 'different' to 'better'.

Then it makes more sense.

I just want to be a better person, that's all I'm asking for.

20th March 2010 is here! ^^
And guess what? That cute small kid (points to left) has turned EIGHTEEN (18). He he. Time flies so fast and not he's at th legal age. Decided to make this year a special one because bro has been looking forward to this day so much. Ha ha.

Firstly, Thank You So Much God for bringing him into this world. Thanks Mum for giving birth to him. Thanks Mum and Dad for giving us th correct necessities in life for us to live up to this age.

So yes, 18 is th age to freedom isn't it? Heh heh. He's gonna get a driving licence soon I guess. And it's all gonna be sponsored for. Okay let's clap clap.

I guess I have to admit he's th best sibling I can find in this world. I bet no other brother treats their sister in a way he does towards me. He's been th best and no words can describe how much I love him. It's a lie to say we've never fought once in life. Cause we did each and every second while we were young, to th extent that I remembered hating each other during our childhood times.

He's been in my life for almost sixteen years now and I cant imagine how life would be without him. I remembered few years back when we called each other names and shouted vulgarities across each other. I remembered being very rude to him, not even respecting him as an older sibling.

But despite our quarrels, there were times when he was really sweet to me..

1) He kissed me, when I was little. I vaguely remembered th day he did, but hey, we looked sweet don't we?

2) Then I remembered jumping on th bed with him, getting bored and taking Mum's old camera to take pictures together, wearing same kinds of clothes.

The Days when I Fucked Up

Tadaima.

Today is a Thursday.

And my last post was on last Sunday, which was soooo a few decades ago.

Gomen.

Anw I had been busy since last Monday.

Let me start off..

Last Monday, I met Derrick and Zhong Han, my secondary school mates, for an interview.

Adam Khoo Learning Technologies Group Pte Ltd.

Heard of it?

Mhm.

Interview at 12.

I was so glad all three of us nailed it on the spot.

And best of all, he asked if we could start immediately.

So we said yes.

And so the very coincidentally, my secondary school had it's first day's I Am Gifted workshop today.

And so we took our shirts and cabbed there.

People were surprised when I got back to school.

"Eh, that's Azwan! And he's wearing Adam Khoo Shirt?"

Oh well, people do recognize me, as expected.

Despite my freaking long untidy mane.

I took a photo of half the population in AVA room.

And then, bla bla bla and bla happened.

Well, typically alot happened, and I do not wish to go into further depth.

It was the same for Tuesday, the second day of the workshop.

But I didn't attend it on the last day.

I had another job to do.

Repackaging.

With Sheam and Soon Eng.

WOW I keep meeting my ex-schoolmates these few days.

Soccer, swimming, job interview, even in jobs.

Hah!

Well back to the point.

Repackaging was like child labour man.

A pallet of boxes containing plastic bags.

Opening old boxes, and folding small new ones

New boxes with the plastic bags, stacked neatly

And well, as I was doing my stuff, I noticed this:

Or is it vice versa?

After being done with 5 killer pallets, we finished the job at 1845h.

And we, being silly people, took the bus home.

I changed buses three times.

And reached home at 2130h.

2 and a half hour on the buses.

Shiokness.

Reached home, bathed and slept at 3am.

Shredded. =X

Well I woke up at 1300h today, no surprise to that.

Met sis in front of the salon at 1600h.

I need a haircut.

Well I know I had to facilitate in schools, and it requires me to be neat and smart.

But after the woman cut my hair and commented that I was cute, I looked at my reflection.

"Azwan, don't ever regret cutting your hair for the sake of your job."

I kept telling that to myself.

Well, it wasn't any use anyway.

Our plan of goinf to Bugis was cancelled.

Due to me being not used to my hair.

So me and sis went home.

Haiz.

Now my friggin Sasuke's hair is gone.

Haiz.

It's ok, be reassured Azwan.

It'll grow back in no time at all.

Yea right.

My Saturday.

Na Minna, I had a short but fun reunion with some of my Secondary School Classmates.

The "nice" ones.

We played soccer at Bukit Batok, the street soccer court we always lepak-ed at after school.

They played since 1130h, and then me and Sheam joined at 1230h.

There was this Chinese Pri 6 boy who played with us too.

Not bad skills for Pri 6.

Well we used his soccer ball too.

Cause his' was better than ours.

And around 1430h I don't really recall how, but Yasser kicked the ball over the fence...

...and...

...it landed at the centre of a tree.

Ape laa Yas.

Well, being cool Samaritans, we went to help.

I tried kicking and throwing our ball to the tree to see if I could knock his ball down.
I managed to hit it a damn lot of times, but it just didn't give way.
The tree was full of red ants, when the tree accidentally shook, a rain of red ants came down.
I was forced to strip down to my Boxers.
In public.
Haiz.
They bite, damn pain, u know?!

The guy went "I want my balls! That useless guy, kick the ball up, then never help!"
Dude, there's only one ball stuck on the tree.
And, you already have two balls.

And so, Yas, being a Spartan, took the bravemost trouble to climb the fence and throw our ball directly at the tree, but to no avail.
So he flew back down.

We were damn tired, so we sat under the void deck.

With the Pri 6 guy.

And so I told him, " Boy, do you have a long Bamboo pol at your house?"

And he had one.

So he walked to his house.

Before that, he shouted " Don't run HOR!"

I said okay.

But in the end, we slowly jogged back into the court, packed our stuff, and scram-ed to the nearest bus stop.

Our Karma damn shit already.

While we were still wearing our shirt and shoes, I thought I saw him walking.

Me: Eh Jem(Jeremy), what was the colour of the shirt the boy was wearing?

Me: Shit, run. I saw him walking.

And so we walked away instead of waiting for the bus.

Hah!

Although I feel bad for the boy, well, still...

HAH!

Then we chilled at MacDonald's near West Mall, and made fun of the people there.

Damn fun la sial.

At 1600h, Me, Yas, Jem and Sheam planned to meet for swimming at 1900h at Jurong East Swimming Complex.

We asked Asyraf along too.

Andy and Jeffrey weren't tagging along.

Well in the end, it was only me, Yas and Sheam.

It was fun.

My Friday Night

Na minna!

Well let's start off with Friday.

Hmm...

After my Friday prayers, I waited for sis to come back home.

And we decided to go out.

City Hall first.

We walked around Peninsula, went into Standard Value and Davis Guitars for my electric strings, and went back out.

Sis asked "where does that lead to?"

And so I said it led ti Iluma.

And so our feet took us there.

And of all places, I saw my classmate there.

Some Ngee Ann Animation thingy was going on there.

Then we walked to Raffles Hospital for Banquet, and it was expensive!

Well mentang-mentang hospital la kan..

And so we decided to eat at KFC instead.

Then We went to MacDonald's to eat ice cream.

We walked to Raffles City and passed by my friend's work place, but she's off shift, so we continued the walk to Esplanade.

We got bored there.

So we walked where our feet would take us.

And we reached Flyer.

And it was my first time there -.-

I sat and chilled beside the waters.

Clicked some photos, and did some stupid soulsearching.

Then I had enough, and went back to Esplanade toilet to do some more soulsearching.

Just kidding.

My stomach's got the better of me.

Then off back to City Hall MRT and back home.

Well, that was my Friday.

I slept, thinking of what the fuck I was thinking.

Next Semester

Konbanwa na minna san!

I'm back from my class chalet! =D

Well, it was supposedly meant to be 3 days.

But I went home on the 2nd, which was yesterday.

Chalet was fun.

We barbecued, blasted songs with the powerbar and sang songs with the guitar.

We also played card games, Li Jing's PS2, rugby and don't know what.

"You think my memory so good ar?"

I was forfeited in a card game and was supposed to put one of my so-called 'un-glamorous' picture as my Facebook Display Photo.

Oh well, still waiting for me to be tagged.

Look out!

Late at night we went to Downtown East, and only MacDonald's was open.

So we had late supper there.

When we came back I was exhausted.

I wanted to close my eyes.

It was the first time in any chalet that I felt like sleeping.

I wasn't really sure of the reason.

And my right ankle hurt-ed like hell of a fuck, I felt like pulling it out of its joints.

And I felt empty.

I kept asking myself why I felt that way that time.

And I realised ...

...that it was because...

... " _ _ _ _"

No, I'm not gonna blurt out anything.

Oh yea.

The room was UBER cold. ~.~

I shivered like fuck in the sheer coldness, and took out my hoodie and jeans.

LOL.

While I slept, a few of the rest went for breakfast.

Then some went home while I took a shower.

Ok, chalet content's ending here for now. No elaborations.

And so I went home alone.

East to West.

And I gave my seat to an uncle.

I felt Bo Liao-ed in the MRT, so I alighted at Queenstown, walked around the station, and took the next train.

Reached Boon Lay at 1115h, and stopped by Jurong Point.

I bought sushi, green tea and Twisties, and made my way home.

I walked although I was tired and sleepy.

I didn't want to waste a dollar for a stupid bus ride.

I reached home, ate my sushi, drank my green tea, and dozed off at 1230h.

AAAaaahhhhh...

...Poof!

I woke up at 1930h.

Mum woke me up for dinner.

Then I wasn't sure what I did for the past 4 hours.

What the? Did I forget?

Damn, I'm really positive that I'm having STM.

And I'm not at all glad about it.

Sometimes I ask myself, am I wasting time blogging?
